Dutch and French Huguenot pioneers settle in southern Africa in 1600s, dominate indigenous black people and take over choice land, eventually establish a country. By 1800s, British gain control, descendants of original settlers resist British governance, leading to Boer War, won by U.K. With great confidence in their Calvinist values, Boer/Afrikaners eventually steer government to establish Apartheid after WW II resulting in brutal exploitation of indigenous people.
